Sean Williams FIEP, Chief Executive at Corndel said, “I have spent most of my working life helping unemployed people to find work. The scale of the unemployment challenge facing the UK requires new ideas, new partnerships and a new scale of ambition. I am absolutely delighted that Corndel is joining forces with the Adecco Group UK and Ireland – one of the leading HR solutions firms in the world – to help meet that challenge. We aim to support 100,000 unemployed people a year into great jobs through our partnership.”

Alex Fleming, Country Head, the Adecco Group UK and Ireland said, “I am passionate about our purpose to make the Future Work for everyone, providing people with access to work opportunities and now so more than ever in light of the impact that COVID-19 has had on the labour market. The Adecco Group UK and Ireland is in a privileged position as we can help those who have found themselves unemployed as result of the pandemic. By working with Corndel, we are partnering with an organisation that is at the cutting edge of providing work-related training and re-skilling. This combined with the Adecco Group UK and Ireland’s scale, client relationships and technology means that our partnership creates a powerful vehicle to help hundreds of thousands of people access new opportunities.”

Scott Parkin FIEP, Chief Executive of IEP said, “The IEP is excited about working with this new venture formed between Corndel and The Adecco Group UK and Ireland and we look forward to supporting a number of interesting sector projects over the coming months and years. We have been grateful for the support of Sean Williams FIEP, as a Fellow of the IEP, over the last few years and feel this is a very natural step in our relationship, one of mutual benefit as Adecco Working Ventures becomes a Corporate Affiliate Partner of the IEP.”
